Owner and head dog-butt-scratcher, Jenna Yarosh, has been working with companion animals for a decade. In fact, her first job ever was at the local pet supply store in her hometown. Since then, she has also held positions at a doggie daycare, a dog grooming salon, a kennel, and an animal shelter, giving her a well-rounded background working in the companion animal field. Her love of animals led her to study Animal Science at the University of Vermont. After graduation, she completed a 1-year Graduate Certificate program from the Humane Society University in Animal Policy and Advocacy, one of the first programs of its kind.
She has lived in Asheville for nearly a decade, now happily residing with her husband and their four adopted dogs, Taos (a Lab mix), Penelope (a Terrier mix), Pearl (a Lab/Shepherd mix), and Neville Longbottom (a Terrier mix), cats Lucy and Tobias, and two Red-Foot Tortoises, Jerry and Scarlet.
Rounding out the team are:
–Ethan Misenheimer, manager of the West Asheville location and proud papa of his Keeshond, Icari
–Erica Kilgo, manager of the South Asheville location and mom to her 6 adopted furkids- her four dogs Daemon, Polaris, Sirius and Iorek, and her two cats Leda and Loki.
